I was in 10th grade, I remember sitting in class and noticing a girl with the biggest most beautiful brown eyes masked underneath the thickest of black liquid eyeliner and no mascara. Her long full lashes stuck straight out. They were acutally a medium brown and pretty noticeable against her over drawn liner. I thought to myself, wow, that liner is adding no value to her eyes. She really needs to curl and use mascara to open and brighten up her eyes.

Perhaps that was a sign, very early on, of what my career was destined to be.
